The objective of this course is to critically analyze and challenge the systems of domination that perpetuate injustice, such as racism, sexism, colonialism, and anti-Semitism. Ruether emphasizes the prophetic-liberating tradition within Christianity, which calls for critiquing, renewing, and reimagining the existing religious and social order. The aims of this study is to highlight the transformative potential of Christianity as a force for liberation and social justice.
